I've added yet another book to the bar library, The Old Waldorf-Astoria Bar Book. I'm still reading thru but couldn't wait to try a recipe. Feeling brave, I made my first whole egg cocktail. Was pleasantly surprised that I actually liked it.
While I like the Brandy Flip, it is definitely a winter cocktail. Note to self: make a pumpkin version for the holidays.
Fill shaker half-full of Ice
One Whole Egg
One-half tablespoon Sugar
2 oz. Brandy
Shake, strain, grate nutmeg on top
