In the course of my cocktail journeys I've had the pleasure of attending many cocktail competitions. On September 15th I have that opportunity again, all while supporting an amazing cause.
Pacing for Parkinson's is a charity running team that aims to raise awareness and funds for Parkinson's disease. Parkinson's disease is the second most common neurodegenerative brain disorder that affects more than half a million people in the United States. On September 15th Argosy Cafe will be hosting a charity cocktail competition to benefit Pacing for Parkinson's fundraising efforts.
The Shake Off will feature five Baltimore bartenders each presenting two cocktails. Each bartender has been asked to create both a gin and whiskey cocktail featuring two of the event's sponsors Gin Mare and High West.
