Thirsty Thursday: Watermelon Rum Slushie

Last time on a very special Cocktail Crafty, I showed you how I converted a personal watermelon into a small punch bowl and shared my recipe for watermelon punch.

Tonight I share my Watermelon Rum Slushie! Booze filled slushies are awesome. Like grown-up freezy pops.

It's really simple. After squeezing out enough juice for my punch, I decided that I could keep squeezing or I could use the left over watermelon to make a frozen cocktail.

In a large bowl I combined the following:

  • Crushed Watermelon
  • 2 parts Rum
  • 1 part Triple Sec
  • 1/2 part Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 part Honey

Pop in the freezer for at least 24 hours. Then a couple of pulses in the blender or food processor. Done and yum!
