New York Sour
2 ounces Rye Whiskey or Bourbon
1 ounce Lemon Juice
.75 ounce Simple Syrup
.50 ounce Red Wine
1. Shake whiskey, juice, and syrup with ice.
2. Strain into a rocks glass over ice.
3. Top with red wine, pouring the wine over the back of a spoon.
